The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and create virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features that you don't often see on robots at this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have but they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
